Sept 29, Message from Marilyn

When: Oct 7, 2025, 5 to 7:30 PM
Where: Snow Farm Vineyard & Distillery, 190 West Shore Road, South Hero, VT

Indivisible Champlain Islands would like to invite you to come and learn more about our movement. We are inviting the public to an event on Oct. 7th at Snow Farm Vineyards in South Hero, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm (doors open at 4:30) to inform people about what is being done to resist the unlawful and unconstitutional actions coming out of Washington D.C. now. And we will also be celebrating the Freedoms that we enjoy as American citizens.

The Vermont Attorney General, Charity Clark, will be the Guest Speaker. Her office currently has filed or joined, 27 lawsuits against the Trump Administration for unlawful actions that would directly hurt Vermonters, or restrict our rights.

We will also have the Zydeco dance band, Mango Jam, to really get the celebration going.

Indivisible is a nationwide movement organized to defend Democracy and our rights as Free Citizens. They know how to resist Authoritarianism. There are thousands of Indivisible groups across the nation with millions of members. There are hundreds of Islanders in the Indivisible Champlain Islands group. Indivisible is not affiliated with any political party and welcomes members from all. The common goal is to stop the Authoritarian Take-over of our government and the destruction of our best systems and institutions. They adhere strictly to non-violent methods.

If you are concerned, or angry, or feel helpless, about what you are seeing happening to our beloved country, you are not alone. You can join with your neighbors, who feel the same way, and you can make a difference. The time to sit silently by and just watch has past. A government Of the People, By the People, and For the People, requires that The People take an active part in making it what it should be. You and I are The People. It is time to DO Something.

We look forward to seeing you on Oct. 7th. Bring your neighbors and friends. If you want to find out more about Indivisible Champlain Islands, you can email me, or check out our volunteer-run website, or ask one of us to meet you for a cup of coffee.
